Alhamdulillah, transliteration is already available in the app. You can enable it from the translations list in settings.

Transliteration is intentionally hidden as we do not recommend relying on it for recitation.

Relying on transliteration to read the Quran is not proper, as it may lead to incorrect pronunciation and discourage learning proper Tajweed. For more information, please visit islamqa.info/en/answers/191497. 

As scholars do not recommend using transliteration, we may remove this feature in the future.

We highly encourage learning Quran recitation from a qualified teacher. Alhamdulillah, many offline and online programs now make this easier than ever. 

Alternatively, you can listen to recitations by Shaykh Minshawi, Shaykh Husary, or Shaykh Ayman Suwaid in our app to check pronunciation and learn how to recite properly with Tajweed.
