About the Role
As a Software Developer, you will maintain and develop web applications, conduct requirement analysis, design advanced applications for various platforms, and manage deployments. You will coordinate with team leads, project managers, testers, and developers in an agile environment. You will also handle bug fixes, improve the performance of legacy applications, explore new technologies, and support the team in delivering high-quality products efficiently.
Goals & Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance existing web applications, adding new functionality to support evolving organizational needs.
- Conduct requirement analysis and provide accurate effort and timeline estimations.
- Collaborate closely with team leads, project managers, clients, testers, and fellow developers to design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software modules within an agile Scrum environment.
- Manage application deployment to production and staging servers.
- Diagnose and resolve bugs, and improve the performance and stability of legacy applications.
- Continuously evaluate emerging tools and technologies, applying modern solutions to resolve bottlenecks and improve system efficiency.

Requirements:
Educational
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
Expertise
- Database & query optimisation — Design normalised schemas, write efficient queries, manage indexes effectively, and diagnose and tune slow-performing queries under production load.
- RESTful API development — Design, build, and maintain robust, well-documented REST APIs.
- Testing & code quality — Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; maintain high test coverage, enforce linting standards, and actively participate in code reviews.
- Performance optimisation — Improve application throughput through caching, profiling, and systematic performance tuning.
- Strong ability to identify, analyse, and resolve problems independently.
- Self-driven, motivated, and goal-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar software development role.
Good to Have
- Experience in leading a team
- Experience with Django, Postgresql, Nextjs
- Experience with server deployment, CI/CD pipelines, cloud services like AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.o the App Store
Salary
70-88k BDT (Depending on expertise)
