About the Role
Greentech Apps Foundation is looking for a Content Manager to lead the development and quality of Islamic content across our apps, which serve the global Muslim community. You will plan and create new content, make sure everything we publish is authentic and correctly sourced, and keep it accurate through regular review. You will also manage our app localisation across multiple languages, coordinate a team of dedicated volunteers, and use feedback from users to keep improving our content.
This is a hands-on role that sits between content and technology. You will work directly with spreadsheets, databases, content management systems and localization tools to structure, update and maintain content within our apps, and work closely with our development team to make sure content is delivered accurately. The ideal candidate combines strong Islamic knowledge and writing skills with technical confidence, attention to detail and the ability to manage content at scale.
Responsibilities
- Content development: Plan, write and expand content for existing and new apps, and identify growth opportunities across languages and regions.
- Authenticity and accuracy: Ensure all Islamic content is authentic and sourced correctly, and keep it accurate through regular review, verification and correction.
- Quality control: Identify and fix linguistic and factual errors in existing content.
- Localization: Manage the app localization process, keeping translations consistent and of high quality across all languages.
- Volunteer coordination: Assign and coordinate tasks for volunteers, and support them across content projects.
- User feedback: Engage with users to gather feedback and clarify issues, and use their input to improve content.
- Content operations: Use spreadsheets, databases and content management tools to organize and maintain content accurately.
Requirements:
Educational
Dawrah Hadith/MA in Islamic Studies and Arabic or MA in Al-Quran & Islamic Studies or equivalent degrees
Expertise
- Advanced Islamic Knowledge: Solid grounding in the Islamic sciences as a Student of Knowledge, with a Master’s-level qualification from a recognized Islamic institution, madrasa, or university.
- Language Skills: Strong Arabic for working with original Islamic sources, fluency in Bengali, and good working English (Any other additional languages is a plus).
- Content Strategy and Quality: Able to plan and expand content, verify authenticity, and keep content accurate and reliable across apps.
- Localization and Coordination: Able to manage app localization, coordinate and assign tasks to volunteers, and engage with users to gather and act on feedback.
- Technical and Computer Skills: Confident using Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, database management, Office, and content tools, with good typing skills and a basic grasp of app and backend operations.
- Experience: 02 years of experience in teaching, content development or a related field.

Salary
30,000-48,000 BDT (Depending on experience and expertise)
