We are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Greentech Apps Foundation (GTAF), United Kingdom, and the Systems and Software Lab, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Bangladesh.
This partnership marks a significant milestone for us as we continue our journey in Islamic Computing, bridging the gap between research and real-world impact to serve the Muslim ummah.
๐ฑ Purpose of the MoU
The aim of this collaboration is to establish a research-driven relationship focused on creating high-quality Islamic educational tools and technologies. Together, GTAF and IUT will work to deepen the ummahโs understanding of Islam, develop open-source digital tools, and contribute to a global ecosystem of accessible Islamic learning.

- Open Access & Open Science: All research output will be licensed under open-source models (e.g., MIT, GNU, Creative Commons).
- Co-authored Publications: Research papers will be jointly authored and made freely available on platforms like arXiv and ResearchGate.
- Technology Integration: GTAF will provide infrastructure support including APIs, hosting, AI tools, and development platforms.
- Islamic Values & Ethics: All work will align with Islamic principles of ethics, openness, and benefit to the ummah.
