Greentech Engage 02: A Gathering of Vision, Community, and Impact

Alhamdulillah, on 13 June 2026, Greentech Apps Foundation hosted Greentech Engage 02 in Huntingdon, UK, bringing together supporters, families, donors, and community members for an inspiring evening focused on the future of Islamic technology and lasting impact.

Our trustees, including Brothers Riasat, Ismail, and Imran, and Sister Priota, joined the event and connected with attendees through meaningful conversations and shared reflections. 

A Successful and Engaging Event

Greentech Engage 02 welcomed 71 attendees from 83 registrations, creating a warm and vibrant atmosphere filled with meaningful conversations and shared enthusiasm for Greentech’s mission.

The programme ran smoothly, featuring inspiring talks, project updates, and a demonstration of our Quran app and digital initiatives. Attendees responded positively to both the vision behind our work and the practical impact of the projects being developed.

Encouraging Feedback

The feedback received was overwhelmingly positive. Many attendees praised the organisation, professionalism, and welcoming environment of the event.

Guests described the sessions as thought-provoking and inspiring, with several requesting recordings afterwards so they could revisit and share the content with others. Families also appreciated the materials, refreshments, and overall experience.

Launch of the Greentech Waqf Fund

A key highlight of the event was the launch of the Greentech Waqf Fund.

The launch was met with strong interest and enthusiasm, with supporters already making recurring pledges. The fund aims to provide sustainable, long-term support for Islamic digital resources that help millions learn, understand, and live by Islam.

Looking Ahead

Greentech Engage 02 demonstrated the power of bringing people together around a shared vision. Beyond the presentations and discussions, it was an opportunity to strengthen relationships, inspire support, and build momentum for the future.
